Dental Implants & Restorations at Absolute Dental

Orland Park’s Trusted Partner for Implant-Restored Smiles

Missing one or more teeth? At Absolute Dental in Orland Park (serving Orland Park, Mokena, Frankfort and surrounding communities), we make getting your smile back both efficient and comfortable. While we refer the surgical placement of the implant to a trusted periodontist, we take care of the initial exam, design of your permanent crown, and final crown placement here in-house — giving you a seamless experience from start to finish.

Why Choose Implant-Supported Teeth?

Dental implants have revolutionized modern dentistry by offering a natural-looking, natural-feeling replacement for missing teeth. They outperform traditional bridges and dentures in many ways, including:

  • Preventing adjacent teeth from shifting into the gap
  • Preserving the jawbone and supporting facial structure
  • Restoring full chewing function and confident smiling
  • Providing a long-term solution you can count on

How Our Implant-Restoration Process Works

1. Comprehensive Consultation & Exam

During your appointment at our Orland Park office, we’ll evaluate your overall oral health, review your medical/dental history, take necessary imaging, and discuss whether implant-restoration is right for you.

2. Referral for Implant Placement

If you are a good candidate for the implant, we’ll coordinate with our trusted periodontist partner to surgically place the implant fixture. (We refer to a specialist because we believe you deserve the highest standard of care for the surgical portion.)

3. Crown Design & Planning

Once the implant has integrated and healed, we’ll design a custom-fitting crown here at Absolute Dental. We’ll match color, shape and function to your existing teeth for a natural blend.

4. Final Crown Placement

At our office, we place the permanent crown on the healed implant, checking fit, bite and comfort. We’ll review care instructions to help you protect your investment.

5. Ongoing Maintenance & Follow-Up

With proper care — which we coordinate here including hygiene visits, exams and upkeep — your implant-supported crown can last many years, giving you a stable and beautiful smile.

Are You a Good Candidate?

Implant-supported crowns are a wonderful option for:

  • A single missing tooth
  • Multiple missing teeth
  • Full-arch solutions (implant-supported dentures)

You may be a strong candidate if you have good general and oral health, sufficient bone (or a plan for bone-augmentation) and no uncontrolled conditions that would interfere with healing. During your consultation we’ll determine your suitability for this solution.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) | Absolute Dental

No. At Absolute Dental we handle the exam, planning, crown design and final placement of your permanent crown. The surgical placement of the implant fixture is performed by a trusted periodontist with whom we partner. This allows us to focus on the restorative piece, and the specialist to handle the surgical component.

The timing depends on how your implant and jawbone heal. Most patients wait 3-6 months (sometimes more) to allow integration before placing the permanent crown. During your consultation we’ll review your personalized timeline.

Yes. We custom design the crown here to match your adjacent teeth in color, shape and alignment so that your restored tooth blends seamlessly with your smile.

Once placed, care is very similar to a natural tooth: brush twice daily, floss (including around the implant), attend regular dental cleanings and exams, and avoid using the tooth as a tool (e.g., opening packages). Because we coordinate your care, we’ll monitor your implant, crown and surrounding gum health at each visit.

During your exam and consultation we’ll assess your bone levels via imaging. If augmentation or bone grafting is needed, the periodontist will discuss that step, and we’ll incorporate it into your overall treatment plan.

Many dental insurance plans cover portions of the restorative phase (such as the crown) but may not fully cover the surgical implant or bone grafting. We’ll work with you on estimating your benefits and reviewing payment/financing options including our in-house membership plan for uninsured patients.

Costs vary based on your specific case (number of teeth, need for bone grafting, surgical referral, type of crown, etc.). After your exam at our office we will provide a detailed treatment plan and cost estimate tailored to you.
